About Dr. Mital Patel
Dr. Mital Patel earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, graduating with clinical honors. After completing externships focused on ocular disease and contact lens fitting, she returned to her home state of Georgia to open Classic Vision Care. For over 25 years, families in Kennesaw, Marietta, Acworth, and Woodstock have trusted her with their eye health.
"My patients are not just chart numbers. I know their families, their jobs, their hobbies. When I recommend something, I consider the whole person," Dr. Patel explains. "If you have never had a doctor sit down and actually show you what is happening inside your eyes, that is what we do here."
Dr. Patel has completed advanced certification programs in dry eye disease management, including training on IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy, radiofrequency (RF) therapy, and BlephEx lid debridement. She has personally fitted over 2,000 patients with scleral lenses, helping people with keratoconus, post-LASIK complications, and severe dry eye achieve comfortable, clear vision when standard contacts failed. Her approach combines the latest clinical research with practical solutions that work in the real world.
